everyone is not who they seem to be
We all have many personas - the ones we show to the public, our friends, our family, our teachers, our employers, etc. The one we tend to forget, however, is our true self. We are constantly building and molding ourselves to societal constructs that we forget about who we truly are. And that's scary.
So if everyone is portraying just a portion of who they really are, how do we know who to trust? Do we trust everyone until they prove us wrong? Or do we keep our guards up until we deem them worthy of our trust? It's a confusing thing.
