Hello September! Since this weather is still changing, this post calls for some summer to fall transition looks (or even back-to-school looks). This is all about mixing pieces from summer with fall trends!

Autumn Blues
Pair a colorful plaid flannel over a light sweater with shorts or jeans for a simple "welcome autumn" look! Depending on where you live, autumn can range from chilly to slightly summer warm so you can either wear this with shorts or jeans. I topped the look off with a bright blue studded beanie to add a bit of spunk. These Jeffrey Campbell "Nirvana" boots - similar to Timberland's Construction or Yellow Boots - are definitely my favorite pair of shoes this season.

Urban Greetings
Black on black on more black with just a hint of white. High waisted black jeans are a must this season. They're great when you pair them with a crop top, but be sure to cover up since summer is already over. I wore black platforms to elongate my legs and make me look taller! (It's all illusions!) Pull on a flannel for a casual everyday look, and if it gets really chilly layer your look with a sport coat or leather jacket (or mine is a mixture of both)!

Bucket Hat Babe
While we are in this weird transition between summer and fall, it's great to have a light overcoat in your closet to wear when you start to feel that autumn breeze! Pair a plain black top with flowy shorts and knee high socks for a simple look. I amped up this outfit by putting on a bucket hat and a statement belt! Try something out for yourself and see what you can come up with!

Sweater Sweetheart
Fall weather calls for cute printed sweaters. This is the sporty outfit of this post! I accessorized this look with a cute headband I got in Korea. You can either wear your hair up or down with the headband! The platform sneakers and shorts make your legs look longer as well. Release your inner high school sweetheart this season!

While many of you are starting or have already started school, I still have this whole month to enjoy my so called "summer"! Be sure to stay warm and stylish this season!
