"There's so much grey to every story - nothing is so black and white." - Lisa Ling

I haven't been in the right state of mind for the past few weeks, and it's been eating me away. Negativity flowed all around me and I couldn't find a way out.  I felt like I was in a dark room with no escape. Then I realized that sometimes.. in order to understand the meaning of darkness you must first know what it's like to be in the light.

Not everything in the world is black and white, just like how not everything is either right or wrong. There are so many factors and details to take into consideration that the outcomes are endless. When things don't go the way you expect them to, you just have to remember that it's not necessarily because of you. Sure it may hurt and sure you may feel broken and small, but always remember that God has a plan for you. As corny and as over-used as it is, when one door closes another will open. Just keep being yourself and work hard.

I'm all about monochrome - black, white, and the shades in between. This UEG tank top is from their disaster collection, which you can read about in my previous blog post. As the patterns are elaborate, I wore it a statement dress with some chunky heels. This look is -in one way or another- a dreamy disaster. As someone who loves heels but finds herself wearing more platform boots, Public Desire's Adrina Lace Up heels was the perfect in between. They're super comfortable and can adapt to a wide range of outfits, especially now that summer is almost here! ~
